At the airport, we are told we have to wait a half hour before we can check in. It’s the first day; our patience isn’t wearing thin. It’s just a half hour; our moods won’t go sour. We’re reading and talking—hoping time will go faster. The McDonalds is closed—“But it’s Chicago!” says Pastor.
